Loyalist Johnny Adair got judicial approval yesterday to proceed with a legal challenge against his imprisonment.
In the High Court in Belfast, Mr Justice Kerr said Adair had an arguable case to apply for a judicial review but withheld granting leave until the Secretary of State was formally represented. The hearing was adjourned for a week.
