Abused women to testify at UN

New York - The United Nations intends to tell some of the stories of abused women today to observe International Women's Day. Victims, activists and celebrities are to participate in a video conference linking New York, Mexico, New Delhi, Nairobi and Strasbourg, involving women whose experiences of violence inspired policies and strategies to curb it.
