Connemara’s Kylemore Abbey garden is predicting a “frog population explosion” due to the large amount of frogspawn on its grounds. The frogspawn has appeared much earlier this year in its Victorian garden rock pools.

Head gardener Anja Gohlke said the garden had already seen unusual activity, with daffodils and strawberries emerging in December.
