London - Reports that a pygmy's body had been left in a bank's safety deposit box turned out to be untrue yesterday. Speculation about the contents of the box had arisen when staff at the NatWest branch in Princes Street in the City of London noticed an unusual smell after a flood in May. But a NatWest spokeswoman said they had been in contact with the owner of the large wooden box and were satisfied the contents did not include a pygmy's body. She would not say what the box did contain or reveal the customer's identity. - (PA)
