Moscow - A Russian human rights commission has received about 7,000 complaints over the past six months, Interfax news agency reported yesterday.
The complaints concern violations of civic and private rights, commission head, Mr Oleg Moronov, said.
They also involve disputes between employees and their bosses, non-payment of pensions to retired people and war veterans, he added. Mr Mironov did not say if the number of complaints had increased or decreased compared to the same period a year ago.
