Customs officers have seized cannabis worth €60,000 at Rosslare Port.
The five-kilogram quantity of herbal cannabis was found inside the tyre of a car that was disembarking off a ferry from Roscoff in France.
A man (36) and a woman (45), both understood to be Polish nationals, have been arrested and are being detained at Wexford Garda Station.
“A sniffer dog identified the location of the drugs during routine risk-profiling by Customs officers,” said a Revenue spokesman.
