Orkney - Six mineworkers trapped underground for more than 30 hours at a South African gold mine have been found alive, but four are dead, the mine's owners said yesterday. Five miners are still unaccounted for, African Rainbow Minerals chairman, Mr Patrice Motsepe, told public SABC television.

Fifteen miners were trapped 2,100 metres underground following a rock-fall caused by a tremor that hit the mine, in the town of Orkney, on Monday.
