A man arrested over the seizure of 40,000 ecstasy tablets in Co Kildare has been released.
The man (21) was arrested in Castledermot on Wednesday after a search in Kilcullen uncovered the drugs.
He was taken to Newbridge Garda station for questioning but was released last night. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
According to a Garda spokesman, the drugs had a total value of €400,000.
