THIRTY children had a lucky escape when their school bus crashed in Co Tyrone, toppled down an embankment ending up on its side. The driver and the children were taken to hospital in Omagh and all but one child released after treatment.
The RUC said the condition of the remaining child was not known.
The accident, near Carrickmore, happened in the morning but details were not released until last night.
A 62 year old man died last night when his car crashed into a Give Way sign outside Moira, Co Down. His name has not been released.
