3 deny murdering Limerick man

Three people have pleaded not guilty in the Central Criminal Court to the murder of a Limerick man in 1998. Mr William Roche (23), Killaloe, Co Clare, Mr Michael Sage (25), Ballina, Co Tipperary, and Ms Deirdre Rose (20), Killaloe, Co Clare, are charged that on December 4th, 1998, at Ballinahinch, Newport, Co Tipperary, they murdered Mr John Carroll, of Cappamore, Co Limerick.
