A £20 million joint development between Tralee Urban District Council and Monarch Properties was announced yesterday

A £20 million joint development between Tralee Urban District Council and Monarch Properties was announced yesterday. The scheme, for the development of the Lee Valley, will create about 150 jobs during the construction phase and up to 400 when the project is completed.

The development will include, a retail village, a multi purpose leisure arena, a hotel and apartment building, factory outlets for Irish goods, and a motor service station incorporating tourist related services. There will be a strong emphasis on, recreational facilities, including a river bank walk.
