New York - Two men appeared in court yesterday charged with allegedly sexually abusing and robbing a British tourist in Central Park on Sunday, one of a series of attacks by about 15 men who drenched women in water, stripped off their clothes and sexually assaulted them.
Lawyers for the two defendants told a Manhattan Supreme Court judge that they believed their clients had been incorrectly identified as among those participating in the assault, one of at least four sexual attacks on women in a 35-minute period on Sunday evening.
