HONG KONG - A British buyer bowled over auctioneers in Hong Kong yesterday by bidding a record $2.77 million for a piece of Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain. The Imperial yellow ground bowl decorated with puce landscapes of hills and pavilions was bought by a London dealer, Eskenazi Ltd, Sotheby's said in a statement.
