Heroin worth an estimated €2.4 million was seized in Kill, Co Kildare by gardaí today.
Gardaí arrested four men and seized 12kg of heroin when they stopped and searched cars off the Naas Road.
Three men in their twenties and one man aged 51 were arrested at the scene by gardaí.
The seizure was part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in Dublin by the Garda National Drugs Unit.
The men are being held at Clondalkin Garda station.
