BUJUMBURA - Foreign aid workers said yesterday troops killed more than 150 civilians in south-west Burundi in reprisals after rebel attacks, but the army denied the charge.

They said troops killed more than 100 people at Mugara and 51 people including women and children on the hills near Maramvya in Burambi commune on Monday.
