Fifteen people appeared at a special sitting of Athlone District Court on Saturday evening charged with drug offences. The defendants, 13 men and two women, all in their late teens or early 20s, were charged with possessing and supplying the drugs in Athlone over the past two months.
All defendants were released on their own bail of £500 to appear at Athlone Court on June 15th.
