Details of a £10 million fund for local drugs task forces were announced yesterday by Mr Chris Flood, Minister for State for Local Development. The largest amount, £986,220, goes to the Dublin south inner city. The smallest, £566,700, is given to Cork.

The other allocations are: Ballyfermot £922,000; Ballymun £645,000; Blanchardstown £752,990; Canal Communities (Rialto, Bluebell, Inchicore) £820,000; Dublin 12 £636,000; Clondalkin £943,000; Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown £567,865; Finglas/Cabra £716,500; north- east Dublin £728,000; north inner city £770,000; and Tallaght £695,700.
