£10 juror lunch voucher extended

Jurors in High Court civil actions are to get £10 lunch vouchers daily from now on. The State already meets the lunch expenses of jurors in criminal trials. However, down the years jurors who sat through civil jury actions have had to buy their own lunches. Yesterday, 12 jurors who had been empanelled to hear a case were each given a £10 voucher. They had been selected to hear a case which was later adjourned.
