Madrid - Around 1,000 people turned out for funeral ceremonies yesterday for two Spanish police officers killed by suspected Basque separatists in the latest attack blamed on militant ETA activists.
Regional politicians, including the president of the Basque government, Mr Juan Jose Ibarretxe, took part in the ceremonies.
