THE SOCIAL NETWORK:The deputy secretary general of the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Sara White, who graduated from Alexandra College in 1972, will join her sister, the PR executive Aisling White, who graduated 10 years later in 1982, today at the Alexandra College Reunion lunch.

More than 150 past pupils of the school are expected at the drinks reception, which kicks off just after noon today, and will be followed by lunch.

Clonagh Burrows and Maritte Brambell, from the class of 1952, will join some representatives from the class of 1962, including Caroline Foster and Angela Packham.

The caterer and actor Tara Quirke, who graduated in 1982, will catch up with classmates including the ceramic artist Orla Kaminska, Sally Gardiner and Jackie Dawson, who is travelling up from Kinsale.
