Family fun

At the very first Peas and Pods Family Market in Dublin last Halloween, our two girls rambled around the heated indoor venue looking at toys, clothes and other goodies before settling down on child-sized furniture to draw pictures and tuck into lovely homemade grub.

The next one has a Christmas theme and takes place this Wednesday, December 22nd, at the Dublin Food Co-op at Newmarket Square off New Row South, Dublin 8. Browse 30 hand-picked stalls selling reasonably priced brands such as Touch Wood – its portable wooden kitchens are adorable – Dee Knits, Bee Free Kids Clothing and Purple Planet Kids, whose craft kits featured on The Late Late Toy Show. There's lots of other fun in store from storytelling to face painting, and fantastic food, all sprinkled with the magic of the season (1pm-6pm). See peasandpods.ie.
