It’s been over a year since the next generation of a Mercedes Gullwing was spotted testing in the US but all signals are that the production plans are still on target.
Often referred to in the motoring press as the “upcoming SLC”, the new car may well come initially from the AMG stable of Mercedes derivatives.
This version – with full gullwing doors – was spotted testing last week. The Gullwing is expected to be introduced at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, with a limited run of sales for a period of two years. Power estimates are expected to be in the 550-650 bhp range, courtesy of a forced-induction V8, or maybe even a V10.
