A DUBLIN businessman has paid slightly over £370,000 for a ground floor restaurant at East Essex Street in the Temple Bar area of Dublin. The 1,250 square foot premises is occupied by Med at a rent of £30,000 per annum. The new owner can claim 94 per cent capital allowances on the investment.

Douglas Newman Good, which handled the sale, is seeking £350,000 for an adjoining business premises occupied by the Internet Cafe and Restaurant. The current rent on the 1,169 square foot restaurant is £30,000 per annum. There are 68 per cent capital allowances available.

The same agents are asking £120,000 for a 446 square foot shop occupied by Tag records along Wellington Quay. The rent is £10,000 and the capital allowances are available on 32 per cent of the cost. The three investments are being sold by Temple Bar Properties.
