SALES of a number of apartments in Fleming Construction’s Rockbrook mixed-use development in Sandyford, Dublin 18 – built by struggling west Cork developer John Fleming – are due to close in August, according to agent Ken MacDonald of Hooke MacDonald, with owners able to move in right away. Twenty of 30 units in the second phase of the development, which were launched for sale in May costing from €225,000, have been sold, he said.

The units are already built, and the development is not affected by this week’s court case involving Fleming’s company Tivway, which has been put into examinership, said MacDonald. Tivway owns the Sentinel office block behind the Rockbrook development. The Fleming group’s overall debts amount to some €1 billion.
