DÚN LAOGHAIRE RATHDOWN

Location: site of 4.29 hectares on the western side of the Enniskerry Road in Kilternan village (between the Old Garden Centre and the Golden Ball pub), Kilternan , Co Dublin. Proposed development: 131 dwellings (63 five-bed and 10 four-bed two-storey plus dormer semis, 33 four-bed and nine three-bed two-storey plus dormer terraced houses, three three-bed two-storey terraced houses and one three-bed two-storey detached house, and 12 duplex units in a three-storey block comprising six two-bed apartments and six three-bed duplex units). Location: The Carezza, Dublin Road, Shankill, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 49 apartments in one building of two storeys and one terraced building of three and four storeys with car-parking and landscaping. Applicant: Nigel Rogers.

Location: corner of 71-72 Deansgrange Road and St Fintan's Villas, Deansgrange, Co Dublin. Proposed development: demolish two houses for a three-storey development of six units (one one-bed apartment, two two-bed duplexes and three four-bed three-storey townhouses). Applicant: Seamus Griffin.

DECISION TO GRANT

SOUTH DUBLIN

Location: Tullyhall, Lucan, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 12 residential units (one one-bed, one three-bed and 10 two-bed units) in two and three-storey structure in two blocks with 24 car-parking spaces, landscaping and site works. Applicant: Eleveden Properties Ltd.

DECISION TO GRANT

Location: Adamstown, Lucan, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 154 dwellings - two five-bed detached houses; 27 three and four-bed semis and detached houses; 77 two, three and four-bed townhouses; 42 two and three-bed apartments in four two and three-storey blocks; three three-bed duplex units with three two-bed apartments overhead in three three-storey corner blocks. All part of phase two of a development at Airlie Stud. Site works, landscaping and car-parking. Applicant: Maplewood Developments.

DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL

Location: site within the northern part of the triangular block bounded by Pembroke Road, Shelbourne Road, Lansdowne Road and the former vet college site at Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, of approximately 2.8 hectares. The site accommodates the former Jury's Hotel, Towers Hotel, Berkeley Court Hotel and Berkeley Court Apartments. Proposed development: 536 residential units, retail, bar, restaurant and foodcourt, office, embassy, hotel, media related, cultural, crèche, and fitness centre with associated facilities. Total gross floor area of 188,102sq m (2.025 million sq ft). Demolish Berkeley Court Apartments. The development will be in eight blocks (buildings A, B, C, D, E, F/G, H and J). Buildings B, C, D, E, F/G, H and J will range from 10 to 18 storeys with a landmark building (A) rising to a height of 37 storeys. Location: 1A First Avenue, Sarsfield Road, Dublin 10. Proposed development: demolish single storey extension for six-storey building of 12 apartments (six two-beds and six one-beds) with car-parking and site works. Applicant: Thomas and Kathleen Barry.

Location: Walled Gardens, Phoenix Park Visitor Centre, Phoenix Park, Dublin 8 (protected structure). Proposed development: reconstruct single storey horticultural buildings for public exhibition use, reconstruct horticultural greenhouses and conservatory, re-open blocked gateway and erect arched head to a large gateway.
