Dublin 15/from €265,000: 140 new houses and apartments are on sale off the Navan Road, and the prompt buyer will be rewarded with new kitchen appliances, writes Fiona Tyrrell.

The first phase of the Earlswood development off the Navan Road in Dublin 15 is being launched this weekend.

Selling agent Hamilton Osborne King will be taking bookings for a mix of 140 houses and apartments. Eight show apartments will be on view this weekend.

The development, which is beside Rathborne in Dublin 15, is located five miles from O'Connell Street and beside Ashtown rail station, which is a 15-minute journey from Connolly station. There is a regular bus service from the area to the city centre. The site is a also a few minutes' walk from the Phoenix Park and perfectly positioned for access to the M50.

Prices for 50sq m (538sq ft) one-bedroom apartments start at €265,000 and go up to €285,000. Two-bedroom apartments measuring between 65sq m (700sq ft) and 74sq m (800sq ft) are priced between €355,000 and €385,000.

Prices for three-bedroom houses with 110sq m (1,180sq ft) start at €455,000 and go up to €460,000 for end of terrace units. Four-bedroom houses with 144sq m (1,550sq ft) of living space are priced at €540,000. Four-bed houses with a garage cost €560,000.

Built around a pretty courtyard, the units are particularly bright and have a been fitted out to a high standard.

As a novel incentive, developer Capel is offering kitchen appliances as standard for buyers who sign contracts within 21 days.
