The US: from €238,000 Gunne New Homes Overseas is hoping to tempt Irish buyers into the US market with a luxury apartment development in Chicago.
The landmark X/O development is located at 18th Street and Prairie Avenue in the South Loop residential area.
The central business district and Lake Michigan are in walking distance.
Designed by Lucien Lagrange, the development will comprise a 46-storey tower and a 34-storey tower. The scheme will have a swimming pool, spa, fitness centre and private cinema. Prices start at €238,000 for one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments are priced from €352,000.
Current rents in the South Loop area are high, according to the selling agent, and buyers can expect rents in the region of €2,000 per month. Selling agent Gunnes will be taking bookings at an exhibition in the Shelbourne Hotel from Friday, November 2nd to Sunday, November 4th.
Architect Lucien Lagrange will also attend the exhibition.
