Monday September 23rd – Morgan O’Driscoll Online Auction: Kenneth Webb, Fair Day Clifden €6,400, Norah McGuinness, Geese at Sutton Cross €1,400, and Ken Hamilton, Girl with Ruby Earrings €3,000.

Wednesday, September 25th – O’Reillys Fine Jewellery Sale: Faberge Egg €6,500, Cartier gold C bracelet €4,100, 18ct rose gold diamond set Cartier Love bangle €7,000. 18ct gold ladies Cartier watch €1,300.

Tuesday September 24th – Christie’s Online Auction Banksy: I Can’t Believe you Morons Buy this Sh*t . While it may have had a flippant auction title, Banksy is having the final laugh as the sale realised double its pre estimate achieving in excess of £1.2m, with Girl with a Balloon (Gold) 1/88 of the artist’s proof, selling for £395,250 (includes premium) setting a new record for a Banksy print.

Tuesday September 24th and Wednesday September 25th – Sheppards of Durrow, Legacy of the Big House Sale. Chinese Moon Flask €3,800 (€4,000–€6,000) Chinese Qing Urn €3,400 (€3,500–€4,500) Pair of Chinese Qing Famille Rose bowls €7,800 (€7,200–€8,200) and diamond solitaire 3.16ct €12,000 (€10,000–€15,000)

Friday October 4th and Sunday October 6th –Sotheby’s London and Hong Kong. Works by Dublin-born abstract artist Sean Scully, who has been nominated twice for the Turner prize, including pastel and watercolours, most notably his 1.1.08 which is listed at £50,000-£70,000. See sothebys.com

Tuesday October 8th – De Vere’s Art Auction Royal College of Physicians Kildare Street. To include works by Sean Keating, Evie Hone, William Conor, Arthur Armstrong and Gaetano de Gennaro.
