A house at 29 Eglinton Road, Dublin 4, bought last year for £2.3 million (€2.92m) is to be demolished to make way for 24 apartments in two four-storey blocks. An Bord Pleanala has approved a plan by Glandore House (Ireland) Ltd to proceed with the scheme, on the site of two-thirds of an acre.
In Dublin 3, Danninger Ltd, a company controlled by Zoe Developments, has also got approval from the Bord to develop 127 residential units at Belgrove Football Club grounds on Mount Prospect Lawns. Virtually all the homes will be two and three-bedroom units. McInerney Construction has also got clearance to provide a further 24 dormer-style cottages and a mini golf course at Faithlegg Golf Course in Co Waterford.
