Douglas Newman Good Commercial is quoting a guideline price of £2 million (€2.54m) for a former Dublin bar with planning permission for a new building which will include 20 residential units for students on four upper levels. The end-of-terrace site is located on the east side of Townsend Street, within a short distance of Trinity College and Pearse Station on Westland Row. Ben Pearson of the agents says the residential units will attract Section 50 capital allowances of around £1 million (€1.27m). The sale includes a seven-day licence.
