SALES RESULTS:There were more than a few happy vendors in the auction rooms yesterday. Of the nine Dublin houses that went for auction, five were sold under the hammer and a sixth was sold immediately afterwards. Lisney secured €3.3 million for 9B Elgin Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, a three-bed over garden level house - €550,000 over the AMV of €2.75 million.
Also in Dublin 4, the same agent fetched €3.25 million for Rowlands, a three-bedroom detached house in the Shrewsbury development in Ballsbridge. In Co Wicklow, Colliers Jackson-Stops secured around €1.4 million after auction for Khiva, a four-bedroom cottage on the corner of Whitshed Road and Pavillion Road. The property is on 0.33 of an acre.
