Prices start at €370,000 for 51sq m (545sq ft) one-bedroom apartments. Two-bedroom units of 74sq m (790sq ft) are from €460,000 and two-bedroom live/work units of 104sq m (1,110sq ft) are from €540,000.

Car-parking spaces at basement level cost an additional €25,000.

The scheme is laid out in three blocks (rising to five storeys) built around a central residential courtyard.

Brick and render finish is combined with modern timber cladding and glazed balcony areas.

A big selling point at Hyde Square is likely to be its location, in a pretty stretch of the South Circular Road and close to great transport links. Davitt Road and St James' Hospital Luas stops are a five-minute walk in either direction and the M50 is in striking distance.

Hyde Square is being developed by Galway-based Megard Ltd and is being built by Purcell Construction.
