With the new housing market in Dublin running strongly, it is rare enough that development sites with full planning permission come on the market. For that reason joint agents Hamilton Osborne King and O'Mahony Auctioneers expect a high level of interest in 3.9 acres near the junction of Kilgobbin and Ballyogan roads, in Dublin 18, which are to be auctioned on May 25th. There is full planning permission for 27 large detached houses and the guide price of £3.9 million equates to £129,000 per site. Pat Nolan of HOK says the sale presents a good opportunity for a builder to capitalise on strong house values, particularly of large detached houses which are in short supply.
