The UCD Choral Scholars (including Cristina McGrath and Michael Fenton, above) are celebrating a decade of music-making with a concert on Thursday at 8pm in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin, featuring works of Bach and Handel.

They will be joined by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and soloists Helen Hassett (soprano), Belinda Loukota (soprano), Sharon Carty (alto), Dean Power (tenor) and Brendan Collins (bass). Leading from the front will be conductor Desmond Earley, who enjoys an international reputation for his interpretations of early-music repertoire. Tickets are €25: see www.ucd.ie/choralscholars.
