Wear it out: High street fashion with a 70s vibe

This week, we meet PR Masters student Karen Kennedy to check out her college look from our favourite high street stores. Karen lets us in on her secrets to matching the right accessories to a simple everyday look.

“My individual style is probably quite practical but I do love all the 1970s vibes in the stores right now. I like to buy a few strong pieces at the beginning of the season and work my outfits around them.

“My earrings, top and trousers are from urban outfitters. I love little hoop earrings and stacking them up. I’ve had my black trousers since the summer and I wear them with everything they where definitely a good buy.

“I love this top because of the pattern and colours. I got the shoes and bomber coat in Topshop. I’m loving brogues right now so I when I saw these in Topshop I had to buy them. The bag is Guess. I like little handbags – they always add that final touch to an outfit.
