Wear it out: chic without breaking the bank

This week we meet Alma, owner of Dipili Boutique on Ormond Quay, Dublin’s newest destination for hand-selected designer pieces. Her look is very chic and we will show you how to get it without breaking the bank.

1. Jumpsuit The sporty jumpsuit has been around for a while now and is such a versatile piece – it works for all occasions. Throw on a pair of Air Max for a great daytime look and a pair of heels for a chic evening look. Jumpsuits are great as they do all the work of being a top and trousers in one! This year sportswear has been invading areas of fashion it never dared go before, and the sports jumpsuit is a great way to stay on trend without being too daring. €22 Topshop Sale!

2. Gillet: There are loads of great gillets out there and the ones in the sales are such a bargain. This piece will see you through 2015, so don't think twice. The lighter-coloured ones will be great for the remainder of the dark days and will bring you smoothly into summer festival season. If the pockets are really empty, root out an old faux fur from your wardrobe and pop it in for alteration – you could even make a bag out of the sleeves! Faux fur gillet in Stone from New Look €34.99

3. Black Bomber Jacket: A great winter layer. Black, black and more black: you can never go wrong with black. All Saints €165 or vintage €32 Flip, Temple Bar
