More new writing for the stage is in the pipeline from Fishamble Theatre Company, which has launched a playwright-development initiative. The first in a series of playwriting courses begins on Wednesday October 17th. Participants will develop a script over an eight-week period, under the supervision of the company's literary officer, the playwright Gavin Kostick, whose most recent work, The Asylum Ball, stood out at last year's Dublin Fringe Festival. Applicants are currently being accepted for the course. Further information from Gavin Kostick at 01-670401, or see www.fishamble.com
