Primal Scream have rescheduled their two Dublin dates, which were cancelled due to a mystery illness within the band. Whatever it was, the mystery has now cleared up, and the Scream Team will now play the SFX on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st of this month. The shows were originally scheduled for the Olympia Theatre on July 30th and 31st, but tickets are still valid for the new dates and venue.
The Dublin singer-songwriter Marie Therese, now based in London, has just signed to Island Records' subsidiary, Trade 2, and her first single, Up Your Guitar, is in the shops now. The song is a bitter, painfully honest tale of a violent relationship with a musician, sung in a gentle, resigned voice.
