Herman & Wilkinson will be holding an antiques sale next Thursday on the company's premises in Rathmines, Dublin. The 700-odd lots will include Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, such as a Victorian three-section bookcase by Robert Strahan (estimate £3,000-£4,000), a cheval mirror by Arthur Jones (£600-£800) and a Victorian kneehole pedestal desk by S.H. & H. Jewells (£400-£500).
Also in this auction will be a Regency secretaire (£1,200-£1,500), a grandfather clock by Gordons of Dublin (£800-£1,000) and a burr walnut davenport (£800-£1,000), together with a selection of wardrobes, chests of drawers and other pieces.
