Bob Dylan - Melancholy Mood

Melancholy Mood is a Sinatra rarity, originally the b-side of the crooner's debut single From The Bottom of My Heart (which failed to chart back in 1939). Dylan's version, taken from his forthcoming covers album Fallen Angels, features some lush instrumentation and vocals so laid-back, the great man sounds virtually comatose. It's issued in advance of the album's May 20th release date, in honour of Record Store Day tomorrow.

Rusangano Family - Lights On

"I wanted to be Harlem... / I wanted to be Trenchtown, now it's time to be Shannon..." Self-described Non-nationals With Attitude, Rusangano Family explore issues of identity on this new video, "conceived" (whatever that means) by Rubberbandits' Blindboyboatclub. Album Let The Dead Bury The Dead is an eclectic affair, with track titles ranging from Kierkegaard to Isn't Dinner Nice.

Tim Chadwick - Blindfolded

The debut single from Dubliner Chadwick finds the singer- songwriter lost, unsure of his purpose and surrounded by people just as clueless as he is. Or IKEA, as that's known to the rest of us.

Parquet Courts - I Was Just Here

"You look so nice / Chinese fried rice / Wouldn't you know / That place just closed..." The emotionally wrenching centrepiece of Parquet Courts' new Human Performance album is this gentle ditty in which singer Andrew Savage finds a Chinese restaurant he formerly frequented is no longer open for business. Our deepest sympathies to Mr Savage at this difficult time.

Tegan & Sara - Boyfriend

The Quin sister's first new single since 2012's Heartthrob album, is a straight up pop anthem about a girl-girl-boy love triangle. Their eighth studio album, Love You to Death, is out June 3rd.
