A private collector paid £6,000 for a set of Malton prints at Thomas P. Adams's sale in Blackrock, Dublin, last Tuesday. The 28 prints fetched the leading price of the sale.
An Edwardian arch-top gilt overmantel and bow-front console table sold for £2,100; a Chippendale-style mahogany dining suite comprising a table, eight chairs and sideboard made £1,800; a set of eight Hepplewhite mahogany dining chairs fetched £1,600; a composite Georgian mahogany bookcase sold for £1,000; and an Edwardian D-end dining table realised £1,000.
Among the jewellery lots a Rolex Oyster steel and gold gentleman's watch fetched £1,250.
