Conservator and restorer, Pat Boyle will give a talk on the conservation of antique furniture next Thursday at 6.30 p.m. in the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin. This is the second lecture in the series on 200 years of Irish furniture. Admission is free.
The exhibition, John Comerford and the Portrait Miniature in Ireland c. 1620-1850 opened on Wednesday and continues at the Hunt Musuem, The Custom House, Limerick, until October 31st. Opening hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Admission is free.
