Wayne Coyne of Flaming Lips has apologised to Arcade Fire for insulting them earlier this year.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Coyne said the Canadians treated their crew, their audience and "everybody in their vicinity" like "shit", prompting a bewildered blog reply from Win Butler. Coyne now says he regrets his words, and was referring to "the guys that were running their stages at a couple of festivals".
