A VICTORIAN glass epergne, originally from Shelton Abbey, former home of the Earls of Wicklow is, expected to sell for £500-£600 at an auction which Daphne L. Kaye & Associates is conducting tomorrow at 2 Morehampton Road, Dublin.

Starting at 2 p.m., this sale has a strong emphasis on silver and decorative objects, such as a pair of Victorian blue glass lustres with gilt decoration (estimate £400-£500), a hand painted Sevres porcelain lamp from about 1875 (£600-£700), a pair of 19th century French bisque figural candlesticks (£300-£400) and a pair of late 19th century brass two light wall sconces (also £300-£400). In addition, this auction is particularly strong on paintings and engravings.
