In the Midlands Report in yesterday's editions, the name of the great-great-grandfather of the US ambassador, Mr Michael J. Sullivan, should have been spelled Gerety and relatives names should have included Skelly.
In an interview headed "The Match Maker" in the editions of July 15th, it was incorrectly stated that Micheal O Muircheartaigh is chairman of Gaelscoileanna, and due to an error in the editing process it was inadvertently stated that there are Gaelscoileanna in the US.
Where errors occur it is the policy of The Irish Times to correct or clarify as soon as practicable.
