In a number of reports on the Analog dispute involving craftworkers in the local authorities and health services, the settlement proposals arrived at last Friday were wrongly attributed to the Labour Relations Commission. These proposals were formulated by the Labour Court. The Labour Relations Commission was involved in settlement terms drawn up to resolve a dispute by general operatives in these services in separate negotiations with SIPTU.

The route for stage two of Le Tour de France on July 13th has been changed to go straight from Enniscorthy to New Ross and not via Wexford as shown on the Le Tour de France en Irlande map in Tuesday's editions.
