Visio Corporation profits increase 36% to $10m

Visio Corporation, the Seattle, Washington-based computer company which employs 120 people in its manufacturing, research and localisation operations in Dublin, has announced a 36 per cent increase in after-tax profits for the quarter ended December 31st, 1998. Visio's profits increased from the $7.4 million (#6.39 million) made in the same period of 1997 to $10 million (#8.63 million) in 1998 on a turnover of $48.2 million (#41.6 million).
