The Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation has launched a new website aimed at reducing the burden of red tape on businesses.
Businessregulation.ieis designed to bring together in one place the regulations imposed by more than 30 different Government bodies, including the Labour Court, the Companies Registration Office, the Health and Safety Authority, the National Consumer Agency, the Patents Office and the Data Protection Commissioner.
The facility contains links for more than 150 different sources of information and guidance.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said he was “convinced that small businesses in particular” would find compliance easier as a result of the website.
