Tech firm Qualtrics to create 150 jobs at Dublin hub

Technology firm Qualtrics expects to create up to 150 jobs in Dublin within three years, based on current growth trends, as it opens its first international office in Dublin.

The enterprise survey technology platform has committed to creating 50 jobs in the next 12 months at its new European headquarters.

Recruitment for the Dublin-based jobs, which include sales, support and technical talent, has already begun.

“Internationally, Ireland has a great reputation as an innovative location for Internet based companies, and we are confident that we will find the dynamic and creative talent needed to join our international team,” said Dermot Costello, Qualtrics Ireland.

Co-founded by chief executive Ryan Smith in 2002, Qualtrics works with top brands such as .EA, Nestle and Walmart. In the past year it has received $70 million in funding from Accel Partners and Sequoia Capital, experienced triple digit growth and doubled its workforce to 350 employees

“Qualtrics is the leader in the enterprise survey space, with our customers sending out over a billion surveys in 2012 to gain the insight needed to make fast and accurate decisions,” said Mr Smith. “For this reason, we’re seeing tremendous demand for our technology in EMEA, and Ireland provides us with the perfect entry point to Europe, and from which to expand internationally.”

The news was welcomed by both Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Minister for Enterprise, Jobs and Innovation Richard Bruton.
