Conan O’Brien nails Apple AirPod woes

Remember those iconic “silhouette” ads for the original line of iPods that ran from 2004 to 2008? Everyone looked so cool as they rocked out to Daft Punk, the Black Eyed Peas and Gorillaz. Now imagine the same scenes but with the shiny new wireless AirPods that are set to replace the traditional earbuds and headphone jack.

Most of the buzz on social media has been about how much they resemble the head of an electric toothbrush (they do, don’t they?) but what about the potential disaster for music fans as they shake their booties with the iPhone 7?

Late-night talk-show host and comedian Conan O'Brien has nailed it with his spoof silhouette ad for AirPods. Watch two dancers as they lose their wireless earbuds and their patience: AirPods go flying through the air and get swallowed by passing dogs.
